Coral Miners Mining in the Region & Ludlow Massacre at Lathrop State Park
Walsenburg – Called the “City Built on Coal” during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Walsenburg had at one time over 40 active coal mines. Bob Butero, Regional Director of the United Mine Workers of America, will be sharing about coal mining and those who mined it as well as the Ludlow Massacre of 1914 on Friday, July 15th at 7pm.
