COVID-19 Crisis or Opportunity: Artists’ Response Group Exhibition
The Museum of Friends is hosting a new exhibit, “COVID-19 Crisis or Opportunity,” with a theme centered around creativity in the time of COVID-19. The exhibit is scheduled to run from September 11th through November 30th, 2020.
Visit the Museum of Friends website to book an appointment to see the exhibit. This is to ensure no more than 10 visitors are in the building at one time.
The museum is practicing social distancing and can not admit anyone who does not wear a mask or adheres to the guidelines set forth by the Huerfano and Las Animas Health Department rules.
In addition to “COVID-19 Crisis or Opportunity,” a 2nd-floor exhibit, ”Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence,” celebrates the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment (passed on August 17, 1920). This exhibit is also scheduled to open on September 11th, 2020.
Both exhibits are also available virtually.
