First Annual Highway of Legends Yard Sale
La Veta Village is Currently organizing our First Annual Highway of Legends Yard Sale!
Highway 12 is accessible in Walsenburg, La Veta, Cuchara, Aguilar, and Trinidad off I-25. There will be extraordinary sale items and something for everyone. We’ll have clothes, books, furniture, appliancecs, knick-knacks and much more!
Each seller oversees his/her own sales site and each town will organize and promote the event in its own way.
- Vendors are welcome, especially antique and crafts dealers.
- All publicity is welcome. Merchants are encouraged to post signs
- Businesses should off promotions: motels, restaurants, merchants
- Schools, churches, etc. can set up and rent space for out of town vendors or for parking(Fees of this kind are not taxed and stray with the organization.
- No one should set up on the state right-of-way
- Advertise to small and large neighbors: Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Alamosa
- Advertise on Craigslist and similar venues
