Each September, the Walsenburg Downtown Revitalization Committee presents Mountain Mining Days, an end of summer celebration at Miners Plaza in Walsenburg.

The Fun starts Friday Night, with local favorite Dynamix playing at the Historic Fox Theatre.

The next morning(Saturday) at 11, there will be a downtown parade featuring marching bands from across the state, equestrian riders, collectible cars, and so much more!

Along 6th street, food and craft vendors, a kids’ zone with fun games, face painting, and other activities await.

Bands entertain the crowds all day on the stage at Miners Plaza. Opening the music is the 4th Infantry Division Jazz Band from Fort Carson, followed by the Outlaws, then closing the night out is Serpico from our very own Pueblo, CO!

A hot rod and vintage car show is also featured. Come out and join the fun.

Be sure to stick around for Sunday and visit the Walsenburg Farm & Maker’s Market, just up the street in Heritage park.
