We have invited non-profit organizations in the Spanish Peaks Region to present a 60-second speech regarding an overview of their organization and the type of funding it needs on a yearly basis to succeed. The non-profit will then be auctioned off to local businesses with the amount of the winning bid going to support the non-profit. As business owners, we understand it is financially challenging to sponsor each of the non-profits in our region and it is even more challenging to make the decision of who to sponsor and who not to sponsor. We are hoping to make a greater impact on these non-profit by partnering 1 organization with 1 business for a full year rather than trying to carry the burden of sponsoring as many organizations as possible. Of course, every dollar will be a tax deductible which is just in time at year-end and/or 4th quarter financials.
