Sonic Bloom Festival
Gardner’s Hummingbird Ranch is home to the Sonic Bloom Festival, one of the longest-running music festivals in Colorado and a mecca for electronic and jam band fans alike.
Each June, Spanish Peaks Country lights up with high-profile musical acts and a long list of activities, including yoga classes, workshops, and live painting performances. Unique and interactive art installations are also common throughout the festival grounds as are fire spinners, dancers, and flow artists accompanying most performances. Food and artist vendors add to the experience, making it a joyful—and easy—weekend.
The Sonic Bloom Festival invites kids of all ages and keeps them happy at the Children’s Village. This area provides a weekend full of co-creative activities and interactive educational experiences for a wide variety of artistic outlets.
Some activities include sewing, costume making, tie-dying, face painting, and primitive skills and permaculture workshops to foster sustainable futures. There are also daily open mics and talent showcases to create a musical flow and strengthen teamwork.
Days can get hot in June, but Hummingbird Ranch has your covered with its ice-cold creek perfect for toe-dipping. The creek is a popular spot and a great place to slow down and connect with friends.
