DESCRIPTION:Saddle up for the return of the Highway of Legends Rodeo\, a CPRA-sanctioned rodeo bringing two unforgettable nights of Western action to the Huerfano County Fairgrounds in La Veta on July 10 and 11\, 2026. \nTucked at the foot of the Spanish Peaks along the scenic Highway of Legends Scenic Byway\, this rodeo is the perfect anchor for a weekend getaway in southern Colorado. Spend the day exploring La Veta’s art galleries and downtown shops\, hike the trails around Cuchara\, or wander the historic streets of Walsenburg\, then settle in at the fairgrounds for 7:00 PM performances on Friday and Saturday. Friday slack runs after the rodeo for even more action. \nAfter the final buzzer on Saturday\, the celebration moves to the 4H Barn for a live concert featuring Justin Ross & Deadwood Revival\, traveling in from Fort Worth\, Texas.
