His arrangements and delivery encompass a spectrum of styles from delicate fingerpicking to raucous\, bluesy bottleneck slide.\nAmong other things\, Eric Ramsey is the 2022 International Blues Challenge Solo/Duo Champion\, three time champion of the Phoenix Blues Society’s Blues Showdown\, and a two time Finalist in the Telluride Blues Challenge. In December of 2023 he was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall Of Fame for the class of 2024. He’s a past winner of the Stefan George Memorial Songwriting Competition\, has been tapped for the prestigious Songwriter’s Showcase produced by Tempe Center for the Arts\, filmed for PBS distribution\, and has been a featured performer multiple years running at the DrippingSprings (TX) Songwriters Festival.\nEric’s live performances are captivating\, entertaining and accessible\, and he’s a favorite on the Blues and Folk Festival circuits not only for his dynamic performances but for his workshops on slide guitar techniques and tricks.\nHe lives in the Phoenix area with his long-suffering and patient wife\, three kids\, four (yes\, four\, to date) dogs of indeterminate pedigree\, and can often be found in the garage\, where his family prefer he practice. SUMMARY:Delta Sonics featuring Ken Saydak
DESCRIPTION:The Delta Sonics Blues Band takes a Chicago Blues base and seasons it with Swing\, Delta\, N’awlins R&B and some early Rock n’ Roll. They’ve been playing in Colorado since 1992\, and have established themselves as one of the finest blues acts in the area with their solid musicianship and exciting live performances. \nAl Chesis supplies vocals & foot stomping showmanship but it’s his harmonica playing that grabs you. Al has played in Colorado since the mid-1980’s after moving to Denver from Washington\, D.C.  He has also done studio work for two PBS movie soundtracks and Denver area radio stations\, including KBCO\, KUVO and the FOX. Al has toured locally and nationally with Muddy Waters’ son Big Bill Morganfield\, appearing at venues in Canada\, Utah\, Florida and Wisconsin\, as well as at the prestigious Chicago Blues Festival in 2002.   He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Colorado Blues Society in 2022. \nBob Pellegrino supplies the dazzling\, slide guitar. Bob was the Colorado Blues Society’s best slide guitar player in three years in a row.
