The main Groovy Grove stage and Leafy Lounge with Tiki Bar will be nestled into the trees along with various tree hammocks for attendees to chill and enjoy the music. \nThe exhibitor area that we call Shakedown Street is close to everything and will feature industry-leading vendors and delicious eats. \nA giant geodesic dome will host morning yoga and workshops throughout the day. While you’re in the area enjoy the cool waters of the stream as it winds through the ranch and forms various pools of crystal clear water. \nAttendees can explore the greater wilderness areas outside the main village that is rich with wildlife including deer\, turkeys\, birds and abundant wildflowers. \nThis is a natural site with an epic Rocky Mountain vibe. SUMMARY:The Rifters
DESCRIPTION:The Rifters formed in 2002 in the fertile and creative music scene of Taos\, New Mexico from members of two popular bands already active in the area. Jim Bradley and Don Richmond of Hired Hands\, and Rod Taylor of the Rounders\, who had all known one another for years playing in the acoustic dance-oriented Americana music scene of northern New Mexico\, decided to join forces to form The Rifters. DESCRIPTION:Jack Hadley was born in the Philippines into a military family. When they returned to America\, they were stationed in San Francisco where he spent his childhood in the Haight-Ashbury district. Jack’s mother bought him an acoustic guitar at an early age to keep him busy. The family eventually moved to Denver\, Colorado\, where he learned to play music by ear\, playing everything from Hendrix to Dylan\, unaware that he was learning the foundation of American music – the Blues. \nJack played in a number of bands\, sharpening his guitar skills and discovering his vocal talent along the way. He began performing as a solo artist and played countless shows as a hired gun. In 2005\, Jack decided to focus on writing and performing his own blues-based material with his trio\, The Jack Hadley Band. That same year he was playing at a local club when he was approached by blues veteran Otis Taylor\, who happened to be in the audience. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the season of creativity\, community\, and connection at the Museum of Friends’ Annual Marketplace of Ideas & Made in Walsenburg Holiday Market\, held Saturday\, Nov. 29 (Small Business Saturday) and Saturday\, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. \nShop handmade gifts\, art\, jewelry\, and décor from local artists\, makers\, and small businesses — each piece telling the story of our region’s creative spirit. \nSanta and Mrs. Claus will visit on Saturday\, Dec. 6! MoF volunteers will take photos and email them to families as a holiday keepsake. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate\, coffee\, and cookies while you browse and connect with neighbors. \nEvery purchase supports local artists\, celebrates community creativity\, and boosts the local economy. \n📍 Museum of Friends\, 600 Main Street\, Walsenburg\n🧵 Vendor participation is $15 total for both days; space is limited.
