The main Groovy Grove stage and Leafy Lounge with Tiki Bar will be nestled into the trees along with various tree hammocks for attendees to chill and enjoy the music. \nThe exhibitor area that we call Shakedown Street is close to everything and will feature industry-leading vendors and delicious eats. \nA giant geodesic dome will host morning yoga and workshops throughout the day. While you’re in the area enjoy the cool waters of the stream as it winds through the ranch and forms various pools of crystal clear water. \nAttendees can explore the greater wilderness areas outside the main village that is rich with wildlife including deer\, turkeys\, birds and abundant wildflowers. \nThis is a natural site with an epic Rocky Mountain vibe. RAAM riders climb the Highway of Legends Scenic Byway from the south\, reaching nearly 9\,994 feet at the top of Cuchara Pass before descending into the Cucharas Valley and continuing east toward the plains. \nThis is a free\, family-friendly spectator experience. Pack a folding chair\, bring a cowbell\, and head to downtown La Veta or up Highway 12 toward Cuchara to catch a glimpse of these incredible athletes. DESCRIPTION:The Delta Sonics Blues Band takes a Chicago Blues base and seasons it with Swing\, Delta\, N’awlins R&B and some early Rock n’ Roll. They’ve been playing in Colorado since 1992\, and have established themselves as one of the finest blues acts in the area with their solid musicianship and exciting live performances. \nAl Chesis supplies vocals & foot stomping showmanship but it’s his harmonica playing that grabs you. Al has played in Colorado since the mid-1980’s after moving to Denver from Washington\, D.C.  He has also done studio work for two PBS movie soundtracks and Denver area radio stations\, including KBCO\, KUVO and the FOX. Al has toured locally and nationally with Muddy Waters’ son Big Bill Morganfield\, appearing at venues in Canada\, Utah\, Florida and Wisconsin\, as well as at the prestigious Chicago Blues Festival in 2002.   He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Colorado Blues Society in 2022. \nBob Pellegrino supplies the dazzling\, slide guitar. Bob was the Colorado Blues Society’s best slide guitar player in three years in a row. Spend the day exploring La Veta’s art galleries and downtown shops\, hike the trails around Cuchara\, or wander the historic streets of Walsenburg\, then settle in at the fairgrounds for 7:00 PM performances on Friday and Saturday. Friday slack runs after the rodeo for even more action. \nAfter the final buzzer on Saturday\, the celebration moves to the 4H Barn for a live concert featuring Justin Ross & Deadwood Revival\, traveling in from Fort Worth\, Texas.
