HUERFANO COUNTY TOURISM BOARD

MISSION

In November 2006, County voters passed a lodging and tourism tax to promote Huerfano County as a destination. The Huerfano County Tourism Board independently manages those funds and promotes the County as Spanish Peaks Country.

The mission of the Huerfano County Tourism Board is to enhance the quality of life for residents by bringing visitors to our county, having a positive impact on our economy while preserving our environment and culture.

Stephanie Thomsen

Secretary

Stephanie found her forever home when she and her husband moved to Southern Colorado, and as Chief Operation Officer for Bachman & Associates, she meets many visitors who also wish to plant roots in Spanish Peaks Country.

Her community involvement allows her to bring important knowledge to the tourism board, and she takes pride in being a voice for local residents in the hope she can help draw visitors who share their values.
