Hiking Through Time: Community Talk

Lon Abbott, Teaching Professor of Distinction in Geological Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder, and Sabrina Kainz of the University of Washington will share the science—and the stories—behind three of southern Colorado’s most iconic landscapes: Greenhorn Mountain, the Spanish Peaks, and Dakota Ridge.

Their informative and inspiring trail guides make geology accessible, engaging, and fun for hikers of all ages. Guides will be available at the event for $15 for the complete set or $5 each. Cash only! The guides are also available free at www.lavetatrails.org.
