Admission is FREE, but donations are highly encouraged! This event is produced by the historic Fox Theatre Walsenburg and hosted by the Walsenburg Golf Course.

• Concessions (candy, popcorn, soda) are available to purchase from the Fox Theatre Walsenburg pop-up concession stand.
• Food and alcohol are available to purchase inside the clubhouse.
• You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, etc.

You do not need to purchase a Lathrop State Park pass to access the Walsenburg Golf Course. Enter Lathrop State Park, stay to the right and follow the signs to the golf course.

Or you can take Second Street out, across from Loaf ‘n Jug in Walsenburg.

ABOUT THE MOVIE

Luke Jackson is a cool, gutsy prisoner in a Southern chain gang who keeps escaping and being recaptured while refusing to buckle under to authority. The prisoners admire Luke because, as Dragline explains it, “You’re an original, that’s what you are!” Nevertheless, the camp staff actively works to crush Luke until he finally breaks.
