FAROUT Murals

Art is vital, but it’s easy to forget its importance in our everyday lives. It can also get overlooked in smaller towns. FAROUT Murals in Huerfano County is doing its part to bring artists and local businesses together and engage the community. By creating low-cost, high-impact programs, FAROUT aims to put the money back into the hands of artists and small businesses, all through the lens of the arts. In its second year, FAROUT welcomed a new group of artists to paint the walls. Meet them and get to know their work:

Marissa Napoletano is an illustrator and muralist based in Denver, Colorado. She says her art is “like a freefall, trusting yourself to execute a vision, to emote without constraint and to expose your work to the world.” Find her and more of her work on Instagram @reveryart.
