Cordova Pass

Cordova Pass is a mostly graded road on the south side of Spanish Peaks. It passes through a tunnel made in a volcanic dike called Apishapa Arch. The best time to ride Cordova Pass is June through October.

Medano Pass Primitive Road

While OHVing in not permitted within the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, it is on the pass that takes you there. On Medano Pass Primitive Road, you’ll pass Medano Creek several times and many camping options.




