82ND GARDNER CHUCKWAGON DINNER
The Gardner Chuckwagon Dinner or Roundup Dinner, as sometimes called, is held to commemorate the cattle roundups that were held each year in the Gardner area. The dinner is a reenactment of the meals served each evening during the roundup. The meals were prepared and served from a chuckwagon and the original wagon that was used in early 1900’s will be on display.
A meal of roast beef, potatoes & gravy, beans, biscuits, cucumbers, cole slaw, pie, cowboy coffee and cold drinks is served. Proceeds provide scholarships for local students to further their education. Event held at the Gardner Methodist Church grounds.
