Igneous Petrology of the Spanish Peaks

Learn about the geologic history of the Spanish Peaks area. Learn how the crust and upper mantle interaction produced many of the igneous bodies of the region. This will serve as an introduction of the multitude of geologic features visible in Lathrop State park and around the Scenic Highway of Legends.
