La Veta Trails Crew Leader Training

The La Veta Trails and Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado are joining forces to offer Crew Leader Training on Friday, May 31, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Crew Leader Certification Training includes online pre-workshop preparation, classroom sessions, and field exercises. The two field sites will be the School Nature Trail and Wahatoya Lake Trail. You will learn and practice construction and maintenance of sustainable trails, leadership strategies, and techniques, tool use, and safety. You will apply these skills on the field sites.
