Spiritual Light- Mary Frances Judge Art Show Opening

Please join us on July 4^th to bring in the summer months with art, music, food and conversation from 4 to 8 pm at the Museum of Friends in Downtown, Walsenburg

Mary Frances Judge’s exhibit Spiritual Light will be on view in the main 1^st floor galleries.  She is an artist who has created many paintings over the last fifty years.  Born in Minneapolis, MN, Mary Frances Judge became an Ursuline nun in 1958.  As a nun, Mary Frances Judge gained qualities that were essential to being an artist: the capacity to live minimally; the ability to make a commitment and stick to it; and the capacity to devote herself to larger issues bigger than herself.  She found inspiration while traveling Italy and lived for over thirty year in New York City as a practicing artist.  Mary Frances Judge will be in attendance for the opening on July 4^th from 4 to 8 pm, please come out and welcome her.
