Halloweentown Movie Night at Fiesta Park

Bring a lawn chair and a blanket to Fiesta Park for a free outdoor screening of Halloweentown under the Walsenburg sky. The Disney Channel classic follows Marnie, who learns on her 13th birthday that she is a witch and gets pulled into a hidden town full of goblins, warlocks and curses. It is rated TV-PG and runs 1 hour 24 minutes, a good fit for families with kids.

The screen sits between the fields at the back of the park, near the pavilion. Glow sticks and flashlights are welcome for the walk in and out. Volunteers are always appreciated for setup and cleanup.

Admission is free. Donations to the Fox Theatre Walsenburg help cover the film license.

Huerfano County Parks & Recreation organizes the event, with event services from Fox Theatre Walsenburg. Presented by Bachman & Associates.

Make it a Halloween weekend in Walsenburg: Trick or Treat on Main Street runs earlier the same afternoon, from 3 to 5 PM, followed by a costume contest at Miners Plaza.
